MODERN AND OLD

<Digimax i6 PMP, Samsung #11 PMP>

Just look at this! Can you believe it? Well it exists in Avenue Wagram not far from the Arc de Triomphe. Unbelievable. How on earth did the proprietor get planning permission to build this modern building here?
I'm not against modern buildings, on the contrary, I think France is should be more daring (plus osé) with its new projects, but here, it's shocking. I like the one on the left, I like the one on the right, but joined together it's a heresy.
Apparently they've had to put curtains (des rideaux) behind the glass, it's facing south-east I think, it must be terribly hot in there. So what's the use (quelle est l'utilité) of a glass wall if you have to close it off with curtains?

TWO WALLS FEATURED!

I'm having a run of success in the WALL OF THE WORLD group on redbubble. I have two photos featured on the same page!! I'm so proud again. Success here means other people think my photos are good, means encouragement to continue taking unusual photos. Here they are:

This was the wall of the Adidas shop on the Champs Elysées during the Roland Garros tennis tournament. It was high up (en haut) and I couldn't get near to see how it was made; pity.

This is a glass building with reflections, also in Paris. The reflections are fantastic, all different colours. Of course in Paris there are lots of different possibilities, but it's not easy, there are building works everywhere.

BACK TO PARIS

When I'm walking in the streets in Paris I look at the details - it's difficult because everything is so big and high. I notice particularly the reflections in all the glass: windows, cars.. Here is one of my favourites in a very clean and shiny black car bonnet:

From cars to transport, what do you think about this one?

Seen in the Toyota Champs Elysées showroom it is the new city transport concept. Very futuristic, but I don't know if it's very practical.
Back to reflections, in a building this time:

In this very modern glass building you can see the old building on the opposite side of the road. I like this one.
