What am I going to put in for my 300th entry?
An outside view?
An inside view?
A close-up?
Or a mystery 'don't know what it is" shot?
I couldn't decide, so you got all four
Is anybody reading this, except me?

STEAMROLLER - rouleau compresseur
By carolweb on Saturday, July 3 2010,
What is this? The Extreme Close-ups group has a challenge for TRANSPORT - anything as long as you can ride in it or on it (n-importe quoi pourvu qu'on puisse monter dedans ou dessus) - and I had the chance of having a steamroller (rouleau compresseur) in my garden finishing the new drive (entréé de voiture)! So this is my extreme close-up of a steamroller
I bet (je parie) nobody else has a photo of a steamroller

redbubble.com
By carolweb on Tuesday, April 6 2010,
In April 2009 I found, by chance on Internet, and joined the art site redbubble.com.
I love this site: there are hundreds of themed groups for all different subjects that organise challenges. I enjoy competing in the challenges and seeing other people's work. It's a site in English and most people come from America, Australia or South Africa, but there are people from all over the world.
It changed completely my photos, now I take abstract "art": blocks of colours, forms, everyday objects.
Click on 'my folio' link - en bas de page - and see my folio and look at the names of the groups I belong to.
One of the groups I belong to that I like very much is called "Wall of the world" (lien en bas de page) and is just for photos of walls! There are some fantastic unusual photos.
This is my latest wall photo. What do you think of it? :)) The title is "Bleeding wall" (Mur qui saigne".)
Or this one?
I'll show you some of my other photos another day.

Today's macro
By carolweb on Monday, April 5 2010,
Yesterday it was my first ever macro, this is my latest, from my garden.
These are cherry flowers and the tree is covered with them. I hope there will be lots of cherries also so I can make lots of jam. I love cherry jam.
I also love clafoutis.
Here is the recipe:
Butter a dish, fill with cherries; mix 50g of flour with 100g of sugar, two eggs and 1/4 litre of milk; pour over the cherries; cut small pieces of butter on the top. Cook in the oven 180° for 25 minutes. Delicious with vanilla ice cream! Yummy.
But today I was busy because my family came for lunch, so I didn't just take photos of flowers.
The weather was beautiful and warm and my grandchildren enjoyed themselves in the garden.
