BACK TO PARIS again

No photos for a week, I'm delighted (enchantée) to be going back to Paris again for a week. That is if the SNCF doesn't decide to go on strike (faire grève) again tomorrow morning. There were strikes last week and there's a big mass protest in Paris on Tuesday - I'll be there, even if it doesn't concern me directly. All the agitation is about the pension reform and retirement age being 62 instead of 60. READ what the BBC site says about it today.

When I'm in Paris I often take photos of reflections, the first one is opposite Beaubourg:

This one is near Les Halles. I love them, they're fascinating when they deform and not just reflect.
This time I'm not going to send postcards to my friends I'm going to send 'colour your own picture' of the EIFFEL TOWER! I have printed it out on a page of drawing paper (papier à dessin). I think my grandchildren will be amused, but I don't know if my mother will.

BACK TO PARIS

When I'm walking in the streets in Paris I look at the details - it's difficult because everything is so big and high. I notice particularly the reflections in all the glass: windows, cars.. Here is one of my favourites in a very clean and shiny black car bonnet:

From cars to transport, what do you think about this one?

Seen in the Toyota Champs Elysées showroom it is the new city transport concept. Very futuristic, but I don't know if it's very practical.
Back to reflections, in a building this time:

In this very modern glass building you can see the old building on the opposite side of the road. I like this one.
