This typical French dessert is so easy to make - and so delicious to eat!
You need 60g of flour (farine), 100g of sugar (sucre), 2 eggs and 1/4 litre of milk (lait).
Mix, and pour (versez) onto fruit - preferably bitter cherries (griottes) in a buttered dish (plat beurré).
Cook for 25 minutes in the oven (four) at 180°
Leave to cool, then eat with vanilla ice cream or fresh cream. Mmmm!

Today's macro
By carolweb on Monday, April 5 2010,
Yesterday it was my first ever macro, this is my latest, from my garden.
These are cherry flowers and the tree is covered with them. I hope there will be lots of cherries also so I can make lots of jam. I love cherry jam.
I also love clafoutis.
Here is the recipe:
Butter a dish, fill with cherries; mix 50g of flour with 100g of sugar, two eggs and 1/4 litre of milk; pour over the cherries; cut small pieces of butter on the top. Cook in the oven 180° for 25 minutes. Delicious with vanilla ice cream! Yummy.
But today I was busy because my family came for lunch, so I didn't just take photos of flowers.
The weather was beautiful and warm and my grandchildren enjoyed themselves in the garden.
