MISTY MORNING - matin brumeuse

Mist this morning in the garden, the spiders had been busy all night,(avaient été occupé toute la nuit) on the lawn (la pelouse), on the bushes (les buissons), everywhere. Usually there are invisible, but minute drops betrayed their presence.

The tiniest seeds (les graines les plus minuscules) were visible on the lawn:

And this evening there was a dramatic sky - sign of rain for tomorrow?

AFTER THE RAIN

The weather forecast (les prévisions météo) were right, this morning it rained. Not a lot unfortunately, not enough (pas assez) to water the plants, just enough to leave drops every where.

The convolvulus had time to turn its head down.

And the tall feathery fennel (fenouil) was covered with drops.
The rain didn't last long (n'a pas duré longtemps), the sun came out and dried (a sèché) all the drops - no more photos.

SPRING RAIN

At the moment we're having showers (des averses), in fact the weather is more like April than June. Today they were thunder (orageuses) showers and it rained a lot. When the sun came out again I went out to take some photos of rain drops; sometimes they are beautiful.

These rain drops are on a poppy (un coquelicot); did you know these beautiful flowers were so hairy (poilus)?!

It's cherry time, they are ripe (mûres), red and delicious, and the birds (les oiseaux) like them too! I have eaten a lot, but I have also made 5 jars of jam (pots de confiture).
