Monumenta is a special exhibition in the nef of the Grand Palais under the 30 metre high glass roof. This year the invited artist is Buren and his creation is magic:
The immense room is full of colours, shapes ans reflections. There are 5 different sizes (tailles) of coloured discs supported by black and white posts; when the sun shines the colours are beautiful.
This is seen from above, from the staircase,
In the centre there are some circular mirrors which bring the ceiling (plafond) down to the floor (plancher), the reflections are curious.

BACK TO COLOURS

Back to colours, I feel better (je me sens mieux). 
I took this photo in a shop selling paint. I don't like the greens very much, I prefer the reds and yellows. In fact those are the colours I planted in my garden today.
They are purslane (pourpiers) and are supposed to not like water!
In this photo you can see a wheelbarrow , a spade,and a trowel (une brouette, une bêche et une déplantoir).
I planted my flowers in a pot with lots of home-made compost. We make our own (notre propre) compost with all the green waste(déchets organiques) from the kitchen; it's very good for the plants.

SOMETHING BEGINNING WITH "S"

On the redbubble site( again!) I belong to a group called "Alphabet Soup" and at the moment it's letter "S".
Here are my entries ( I'm allowed 2):
Strawberries and stripes (des rayures).
The strawberries were taken on a street stall (un étalage) in Paris. I bought some, they were delicious,sweet and juicy ( juteuses).
"Stripes" was taken in Paris too; unfortunately (malheureusement) I don't know where it is, I was just passing at the end of the street.

I had other photos beginning with "S" to choose from, it's difficult to choose. I have snails, station, statue, socks, swan (un cygne), shells and stones (coquillages et cailloux), spots - like the photo below- ...
