Remember the object from outer space coming out of its green pod (gousse)?



Well, as you can see roots there is now a stem (tige) with small leaves, and roots coming out! Amazing! As I was going away to Paris I had to (j'ai du) plant it in a pot with soil (de la terre) and while I was away (pendant mon absence) for a week it grew.

This is what it looks like now.


It's climbing up a string (une ficelle) that I fixed to a beam (une poutre). During the night it turned its tendrils round the string and every morning when I get up it has grown (il a poussé) more. I wonder (je me demande) how high it will grow.
