Something new in Royan! Placed near the fishing harbour (port de pĂȘche), it's not very big, but aleady a real tourist attraction.

I didn't try it because there was a queue and didn't look at the price.
Ah, an ARTICLE on internet tells me 148 people turn for 6 minutes and it only cost 4 euros for adults, 3 for children and free (gratuit) for the third child! It's cheap!
It weighs 80 tons and is 38 metres high.It will not cost the town a centime, the owner pays all.
It will turn during May and June on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 7 pm and until midnight at the weekend. In July and August it will be open every day from 10 am to midnight.
I'll go one day when there are less (moins de) people - I don't like queuing - and perhaps go to the restaurant for dinner afterwards.

In comparison, the FERRIS WHEEL (a transportable one) in Paris is 60 metres high, the LONDON EYE 135 metres, the biggest in Europe.
