The elderberry was no good, it just tasted green, I think it macerated too long; so I threw it away (jeté) and started again with some poppy petals (coquelicot).

They're a beautiful red. I put 1 litre of cold water on them, heated to boiling point (chauffé jusqu'à ébullition), the left to cool. I mixed in some agar-agar, boiled for 2 minutes, poured (versé) in jars and left to set (laissé prendre).
